Six weeks after the threads have been administered, they begin to dissolve and in doing so, trigger the formation of collagen. By three to four months afterwards, the body has fully absorbed the threads and in its place have been replaced by a person’s own collagen. These affects are evident for up to and no later than six months.
You will need to allow at least 30 minutes to numb for the threads. The actual treatment then takes 15- 30 minutes depending on how many threads are being administered and the area.
Your skin will be poked multiple times around the areas treated. It is not a pleasant treatment, however like all injectables at Freya Aesthetics, careful measures are taken to ensure the treatment is as painless as possible. You will be numbed for at least 30 minutes prior to injecting, a distraction device will be used and the injections will be over within 20 minutes.
You may experience swelling, discomfort and bruising in the days/ weeks after treatment. However, there is no downtime and you can resume normal activities immediately.
Most definitely, threads are a great addition to clients already getting anti-wrinkle injections and filler.
